When I was living in New York, I was very involved in the local Death Metal scene. Did alot of show fliers and t shirt designs, all of which were just horrific and gory. Ive censored some, and others were just too damn horrible to post on here, so if you'd like to see more check out my Facebook page. www.facebook.com/gorehammergraphics

Anyway, you've been warned.

So, before I got really interested in comics, I was really into portrait and graphite drawing, this is some of my old work dating as far back as 9th grade. This is all pencil work, some slightly edited in Photoshop. Enjoy.

At this point I think its pretty obvious how I color my work, so with this one I wanted to give an example of the overall process I go through from start to finish. Start with a pencil drawing, then I ink it, then I scan it in and color it in Photoshop. This is definitely my best work yet.

So, this one I'm particularly proud of, I used no references for this at all. Straight from the head. Same as the others, all three major stages.

Another three stage piece I did, from pencils and ink, to scanned in Photoshop, to colored and shaded in Photoshop.
I found out The Rock was going to play Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam movie, so I just had to.

So, for my first artist who works in Photoshop is Rod Reis. He is a colorist for DC Comics, and colors his work in Photoshop. He did the colors for Blackest Night.

My second artist is another Colorist for DC Comics, Alex Sinclair. He also Colors his work in Photoshop.

And then there is my final artist, another VERY well known colorist. Dave Stewart. He did work on the Hellboy Series. His style is flat and subtle, but its rather effective.
